Huge congratulations to Seán Mockler, who became National Men’s Hammer Champion for the fifth year in a row. His achievement marks a historic moment for our club and for Irish athletics. The win was made even more special by the support around him on the day. Seán’s long-time coach Brian Akers was there to cheer him on, as was Indiana Throws Coach Megan Tomei, who flew over especially to watch him compete. This was truly a team effort – years of dedication, hard work and guidance have gone into helping Seán become one of Ireland’s top throwers. We are proud to call him one of our own.
