A Historic Day for Moycarkey Coolcroo AC at the County Senior Road Championships

A landmark day for Moycarkey Coolcroo AC as the club claimed the County Senior Road Championship title for the first time in our history. With incredible runs by Mossy Bracken and Matthew Ryan, plus gold and silver wins in the B section, it was a truly unforgettable morning in Dundrum – and a fitting way to launch our brand-new club website!

Sunday morning in Dundrum Village will go down as one of the most significant moments in the history of Moycarkey Coolcroo AC. In what can only be described as a sensational team performance, our athletes made history by winning the County Tipperary Senior Road Team Championship for the very first time.

Leading the charge were two outstanding performances from Mossy Bracken, who stormed home to take 1st place in a time of 32:06, and Matthew Ryan, who wasn’t far behind, finishing 2nd overall in 32:43. The strength in depth across the squad was equally impressive, with Shane Minogue (7th – 35:28) and Conor Keating (8th – 35:29) rounding out our A team, securing the historic win with just 18 points.

But the celebrations didn’t stop there.

Our depth showed its worth again as the Moycarkey Coolcroo B Team took 1st place in the B Section, with Shane Mullaney (10th – 36:14), Kevin Shortall (17th – 37:35), and Donie Bergin (27th – 39:43) combining for another gold medal-winning performance. The C and D teams also gave strong showings, with the C team clinching silver in the B section, showcasing the fantastic strength and unity of our senior men’s squad. The
